How We Hire

Please review the advertisement for the role carefully and consider the essential criteria outlined within. You can apply for all positions online by clicking the “Apply” button within the advertisement. You will be directed to our online recruitment system where you may be asked some specific questions about yourself and your suitability for the role and also asked to provide a CV and Covering Letter to accompany your application.

It is important that your covering letter outlines your suitability for the role and addresses the key selection criteria outlined in the advertisement to give you the best possible chance to be shortlisted for the role.

How do I search for a job?

Opportunities may not always be available in the job type or location of your choice; however we frequently upload new opportunities so please check our Ramsay Careers Job Search page regularly.

Do I have to apply online?

Due to the high volume of applications we receive for our roles, we require all applications to be made using our online application system. By using our online application system you are giving yourself the best possible chance for prompt consideration.

I don’t have an email address; can I still apply for a position?

Unfortunately, you will need an active email address to lodge an application using our online application system. You can easily create yourself an email address through a range of providers such as gmail, hotmail, yahoo etc

What supporting documentation do I need to lodge an online application?

You will need to attach a current resume/CV and a covering letter outlining your skills, experience and suitability for the role for which you are applying. You may also be required to provide additional supporting documents depending on the position.

It is important that you read the application requirements and address any selection criteria outlined on the advertisement before lodging your application.

There are multiple roles that I am interested in. Do I need to submit an application for each position?

Yes, you will need to apply to each position to ensure you application is considered for each particular role.

How long do I have to wait to hear about my application?

We endeavour to respond to all applications in a timely manner after the closing date. You can expect to hear back about the status of your application within 2 weeks from the closing date.
